All interfaces are created using the ConnectMate Network Designer application to configure all of the trading partner parameters. Detailed knowledge about the messaging standard being integrated is built into this tool. Trading partner configurations can be published to development, test, and production servers anywhere within the network all from a central location.
The Network Management Desk provides a real-time monitoring and server control application that can monitor and administer any number of ConnectMate Engine servers running within an Enterprise from a single centralized view. This application keeps the user informed of any potential problems and/or bottlenecks transmitting messages from one interface to another by providing visual clues and an alerting facility that supports email, fax, and page.
Seamlessly share information in any direction between the IBM Mainframe Server platforms and the Microsoft PC Server platforms using our adapters for WebSphere MQ and BizTalk Server. ConnectMate Engine supports a wide range of communication protocols from specialized HL7 protocols to the latest in XML Web Service protocols.
Gathering data from databases and populating databases with data is easily accomplished using our ConnectScript event subsystem which provides access to a unified XML view of the information moving through the engine.
ConnectMate Engine can archive all messages sent and received. The archive can be used to view transaction history and to resend messages to destinations, if needed. The archive facility automatically purges records older than a configured timeframe to conserve system disk space.
In addition, archive records are stored in a SQL Server database for easy access outside of the engine.
